the ratings board →The World Cup’s top scorers and creators, counted from the goals we captured, own goals and missed penalties excluded, the same rule the match timeline uses. Sourced facts, not a model.
TOP SCORERS
TOP CREATORS
By our xG model · per position
The strongest players by what OUR xG model measures, role by role: chance quality created and taken for forwards, goals prevented for keepers, defensive value for defenders. A percentile among position peers, scored on club and archive football, our own model, never a number we bought. Squads confirmed 2026-06-29.

top 10Measured over club and archive seasons, not this tournament: a player’s World Cup xG joins here once we score his shots through our model after each match. The number never moves a live call.
How this is measured
The race is sourced fact, the captured goals and assists. The per-position board is our own expected-goals model: we score every shot ourselves and rank a player among his position’s peers, then show the percentile and the rate behind it. Our model, the working shown, never a figure we republished.
